I don't support running it in dx9, but if you want to the problem you're talking about is solved by changing mat_bumpmap to 1.]]></description>

    	    <description><![CDATA[Use my moreframes config (which is designed for exactly this purpose) for the majority of it, afaik the models are controlled by r_rootlod (but I might be wrong, I don't actually remember, they might have their own cvar), and you can turn the shadows off with r_shadows 0.]]></description>

    	    <description><![CDATA[This made my fps go from ~82-84 to ~100-102 in the timedemo posted earlier. I want to have high quality textures and models, while reducing as many of the flashy effects in the game as possible (such as rag dolls, high quality lights and shadows).
