if your hitsound's name is qbeep.wav

put "play qbeep.wav" in your config or autoexec folder
also put +play qbeep.wav in your launch options

To find launch options - right click on Tf2 on steam games, properties, launch options

otherwise substitute the name for your hitsound name

^this only works if your hitsound is in your tf/sound folder, if you've put it in your ui folder to make things organized as far as I know you need to put "play ui/qbeep.wav" so it knows where to find the sound file -> explained here here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlGu_QeHfas
