DA is just as good as a 3.0 depending on the surface, its just personal prefence as long as your mouse mat isn't causing the laser to die.

3.0's are generaly ment to have a FEW issues with very low sensitivity but not much at all. untill 500hz they have quite a bit of negative accel though (they can't handle 1000hz verywell)

1.1 has the same sensor as a 3.0 so all of the above applies to it, think WMO might have the same sensor, not sure.

The original 3.0 has a "5000fps" 400dpi sensor while the newer has a "9000fps" @ a questionable 400 or 450dpi

(That bit above might be complete bullshit but its from memory)

Bar the prediction MX518's are also beasty, good if you have small hands since IE's and DA's are quite large.

When it comes to the 1.1 its just a none right handed 3.0, same mouse feet, basicly the same base dimensions.

edit: Slightly offtopic, you should never change your windows sensitivity from default as well

I've probably just posted a load of crap that was allready posted but still

Quoted from Koeitje

Don't they have like a shitload of negative accel at high speeds?

I noticed some occational negative acceleration when I first swithed back to imo1.1 from abyssus with the default polling rate, but it wasn't a big issue. With a frequency of 500hz I have no problems whatsoever. I can do quick rocket jump flicks with ease @40cm/360deg. A few specs for comparison:

Krait: Up to 40 inches per second
40*0.0254=1.016 m/s

DeathAdder, Abyssus, Diamondback 3G: 60 to 120 inches per second
60*0.0254=1.524 m/s
120*0.0254=3.048 m/s

I have no idea what motivates this interval, I had more problems with negative acceleration while playing with the db3g than my wmo. My abyssus worked fine in that sense though.

Oh, and all these MS mice share the same sensor.
