PB and the like are known to simply rebrand 'existing' motherboards. Could easily be a Gigabyte with a new logo or something. But yeah, there's not really a way to ensure this is the case. If it helps, the pins where these heads connect are *usually* in the bottom right corner of the motherboard (where bottom right is right of the expansion slots and below the memory, on a 'normal' layout). Usually there are little labels printed next to the pins to indicate what they are for (abbreviations like PWR for power, RST for reset, etc. You get the idea).

What? No. The headers are grouped and you have to put them the right way round (for positive or negative). He's talking about the LEDs and the switch headers, they don't 'fit where they are meant to fit', please talk some sense.
