Depends on your perception -- the average skill level is significantly lower than it was even two years ago. I keep hearing this. In what way is it in a dire state? From what I can tell, almost every 6v6 season ETF2L has run has been bigger than the previous one, and Highlander has exploded in the last year or so. Which part of that is dire? Back to the original suggestion: It sounds fun as a one-night cup, but I don't think it would be as good as a permanent change to the 6v6 format.
