I beg to differ. With Chris' configs, I got about 127fps average but on Comanglia I get around 155. CPU: Intel i5 4670 GPU: MSI Radeon R9 280X RAM: 8GB DDR3 I use Comanglia's config but altered slightly to make the game look prettier (aka picmip to highest, decals, the 3d model, etc). To make the results the most accurate I could get, I disabled steam's ingame overlay, closed explorer.exe and ofc made sure I had the correct launch options for each cfg. Played the same demo for all 3 benchmarks and had the benchmark running for 5 minutes each time to get comprehensive results. Note: I also have -high included in the launch options, wich despite what some people say, never caused any problem for me. Here are my specs. CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 260 @ 3.20GHz GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 3650 512MB RAM: 4GB DDR3 And here are the results! dx81 cfgs chris maxframes: Avg: 141.106 - Min: 64 - Max: 305 chris highframes: Avg: 156.659 - Min: 61 - Max: 347 dx95 cfgs chris dx9frames: Avg: 136.367 - Min: 65 - Max: 356 I was surprised chris' maxframes (wich I was using) gave me less of a performance boost than highframes, and was actually pretty close to the DirectX 95 config.
