Values between 0 and 1. If it still isn't enough just edit the hitsound in Audacity or somewhere to make it louder.

    	    <description><![CDATA[Here are the hitsound related commands, what you need is the volume command:

tf_dingalingaling "1"
tf_dingaling_volume "1"
tf_dingaling_pitchmindmg "255"
tf_dingaling_pitchmaxdmg "1"

I have to lower my regular volume to to a tenth of that value to hear it properly when using quake 3 hitsound. The command for that is:

volume 0.10
