Recently I changed my fps config. I had been running an older version of Chris’ highframes, but I upgraded to the April 2012 version.

Before I changed when I was uber’d my screen would look something like this http://i50.tinypic.com/xlcznm.jpgthe only difference was that my weapons weren’t as shiny, the effect was much duller. Now when I am uber’d the effect looks like http://i47.tinypic.com/k6nw2.jpg the haze on the screen is quite annoying as its normally clear like in the previous screen shot. Can anyone help?

*Edit* I have tried to revert to the old config, but that dosnt work.
*Edit* Changed mat_specular from 1 to 0 resulted in http://i49.tinypic.com/213hzxg.jpg
*Edit* I've changed my dx to 9, and and using the DX9 version of the cfg now. Its the closes to what it used to be like. Not the same though.
