I got a fast PC with a good graph-card. But ppl keep telling me "Run tf2 on dxlevel 81, its so much better for your preformance and aim and shit"

Is this true? Since i got 300 fps both with dxlevel 95-max graphics and dxlevel 81-worst graphics.

I want to play the game with the best settings, but without any mouse lag and shit. What options do you recommend for TF2 on a good PC? And why?
