Is it just I that feels theres been a fall in the quality of these shoutcasts? I remember when it first released and I was so pumped during the shoutcasts, and feel the casters were doing a nice job with giving me the little insight I sought.

But the problem I've noticed lately is that it just seem to me now that the casters are not acting as professional as they did and are just fooling about. now a joke or two isnt bad but I'm still looking for that extra thing that makes this the coverage that I feel it once was.

Fully agree with you, but give the newer guys a chance. They're learning :)

Tomorrow on TF2 TV
Death Marked Soldiers and Inglorious Broadcasters
Highlander Community Challenge Cup Stage
Time: 13:45 EST / 19:45 CET

TF2 TV is pleased to announce our coverage of another second-round match from Round 2 of the ETF2L Highlander Community Challenge Cup Stage. This time we will be bringing you the match-up between Death Marked Soldiers and Inglorious Broadcasters, scheduled for 14:00 EST/20:00 CET on Sunday, December 5th. This event marks our first (and hopefully not last!) all-North American cast from this tournament, and we're excited to be bringing you our coverage of it!

Inglorious Broadcasters, led by celebrity pub pyro Don Newman ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9b2ykUTXFIQ ), are representing the ATF community here in this competition. So far they have cruised through the early matches of the tournament, and are looking to add another game to their tally of victories. Their opponents will be Death Marked Soldiers (originating from the community of Team Funcom), who have similarly plowed through all opposition in the opening stages of the competition. It seems like both teams will have their work cut out for them as they duke it out across Badwater and Steel (with Viaduct as a decider).

The coverage will start at around 1:45 PM EST (7:45 PM CET), so tune into our live stream at www.tf2tv.com/live to catch all the action! Feel free to join our IRC channel at #tf2tv in Quakenet to discuss the game and give feedback on the cast (you can use the IRC web client on the stream page). As always we will be doing viewer shoutouts from IRC at half-time (between maps).

For those who can't make the cast or happen to miss it, fear not! Clearly nothing beats watching the game as it happens, but A VoD of the stream will be available at a later date on our own3d.tv channel ( http://www.own3d.tv/tf2tv ). In other VoD news, our coverage of 8U Gaming vs. Versus (6v6 division 4F) is now available on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jY12V-tcQC4 .

Stay tuned to www.tf2tv.com for much more coverage!

Cube was supposed to work on Nitrose - Rockit from last wednesday, but that job has been taken over by CrashSite right now. CrashSite and Cube will also cover this week's VODs (Epsilon-Diggy and CiC-BACON). Expect two VODs before Monday and the rest will come later.

Any VOD editors can still apply with me, D2M or Comedian if they feel like helping out :) It will only cost you a couple of hours every week to give us the help we need with the VODs right now.

Thanks for the comments :)

Only caught the CiC Vs Bacon match, but thought you guys did an excellent job. Just the right side of critical, tinged with a spattering of humour and an occasional soupcon of disbelieve.

As for casting the lower skill matches from a lower skill perspective, I really enjoyed it. Informative and interesting.

Must build uber.....gotcha! Oh yeah, and scouts.....must have scouts.

Occasional lower skill, analytical type casts, can only be a good thing. Great work, keep it up.
